Community Care Northumberland is a not-for-profit organization that provides nutrition, transportation, wellness, in-home and hospice services to residents of Northumberland County.
The Northumberland Community Paramedicine Program provides non-emergency in-home health care directly to residents who need it. These preventative care initiatives support vulnerable community members and seniors, while also helping to alleviate the high demand on emergency services, hospitals, and clinics.
Community Health Care Northumberland delivers primary care (family physicians and nurse practitioners), diabetes education, mental health and addictions counselling, geriatric outreach services, a memory clinic, dental care, and many health promotion and community development activities.
